I have not blogged in a while because our family has been quite busy raising free range Jayhawks. They have a free spirit and a tendency to go after loose basketballs. Worse of all my fence was not strong enough to with stand the four adult and three adolescent jayhawks, and is currently in tatters. One problem is finding enough felines to feed the flawk of jayhawks. (Mel and I aren't sure as to the proper name for a group of jayhawks, so we came up with flawk.) You can only imagine the cost of stocking fresh wildcats and tigers. Though whatever the cost it is worth it to see the jayhawks running free on their native soil. Not everyone in the neighborhood is so happy to have wild jayhawks running around. Soon we will have to move them to a farm or a zoo where they can thrive. A place where they sing their rock chalk squawk.

Best restart episode: Battlestar Galactica. How dark can that show get? Song stuck in my head: America's Suitehearts by Fall Out Boy. Back sooner that later, I promise.
